Assistant Project Manager

Working under the supervision of the director of marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Create social and digital media content.
  • Maintain and improve online platforms.
  • Conduct market research and making reports on campaign effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to spot emerging trends in multimedia production and to identify new angles for storytelling.

Education:

  • B.A. in digital marketing or related discipline.
  • Participation in workshops or dedicated programs from relevant disciplines a plus.

Skills and experience:

  • 2 years relevant work experience.
  • Interested in developing short and compelling online video formats. Previous experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Youtube, Instagram and Snapchat; and their potential in multimedia storytelling. (Knowledge of Chinese social networks a plus).
  • Event management experience.
  • Knowledge and interest in filming technology innovations a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure and tight deadlines. 
  • Fluent in Cantonese and English (Mandarin a plus).
  • Experience working with international teams an advantage.
  • Able to work irregular hours and weekends; and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic working environment.

Assistant Video producer

Assist Creative Director in planning and executing video productions.

Responsibilities:

  • Shooting, editing and packaging creative and compelling content for use on all social platforms and devices.
  • Brainstorming ideas for video packages and pitching them to editors.
  • Assessing content and selecting the key moments for editing.
  • Piecing together fragmented pieces of content to produce compelling stories.
  • Optimizing video to suit different platforms and devices for maximum sharing.
  • Working closely with the creative and marketing teams to spot emerging trends in multimedia production and to identify new angles for storytelling.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or beyond in TV/video production and multimedia.
  • Participation in workshops or dedicated programs from relevant disciplines a plus.

Skills and experience:

  • 2 years relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. (After Effects a plus).
  • Interested in developing short and compelling online video formats. Previous experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Youtube, Instragram and Snapchat and their potential in multimedia storytelling. (Knowledge of Chinese social networks a plus).
  • Knowledge of video formats, codecs and conversions.
  • Keen eye for video detail.
  • Knowledge and interest in filming technology innovations.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Fluent in Cantonese and English. (Putonghua a plus).
  • Experience working with international teams an advantage.
  • Able to work irregular hours and on weekends.
